Itinerary
A full-day scenic drive from Kathmandu along the Trishuli and Budhi Gandaki Rivers brings you to the riverside village of Machha Khola, the starting point of your trek.
Begin your trek through forests, farmlands, and suspension bridges, passing small villages like Tatopani before reaching Jagat, a traditional stone village.
Hike through forested slopes and cross wooden bridges to reach Chumling, where Tibetan-style houses and a local monastery welcome you.
Ascend to the broad valley of Chhokang Paro, offering wide mountain vistas and a deep look into Tsumba culture and village life.
Trek to Nile and make a side trip to Mu Gompa, the largest monastery in Tsum, located near the Tibetan border with breathtaking views.
Retrace your route down through peaceful trails and quiet villages, returning to Chumling for a restful overnight stay.
Continue descending past Lokpa and lush forests to Philim, a vibrant village with terraced hills and a mix of cultural traditions.
