Itinerary
Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, a representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. In the evening, we’ll conduct a group briefing and review your climbing gear for the journey ahead.
Today is reserved for final logistics, permits, and gear check. If time allows, enjoy a guided city tour to Kathmandu’s heritage sites such as Boudhanath, Swayambhunath, and Durbar Square.
We take a thrilling mountain flight to Lukla and start our trek through pine forests along the Dudh Koshi River. We reach Phakding after an easy downhill walk—perfect for warming up.
We trek through lush forests, cross multiple suspension bridges, and enter Sagarmatha National Park. A final steep ascent leads us into the vibrant Sherpa town of Namche Bazaar, a hub of trekking culture.
We spend the day acclimatizing with a hike to Everest View Hotel or Khumjung. These short hikes offer breathtaking views of Everest, Ama Dablam, and Thamserku, helping your body adjust to higher elevations.
Departing Namche, we ascend along the less-traveled route to Gokyo. Passing through rhododendron forests and yak pastures, we reach the peaceful village of Dole.
The trail rises steadily along the valley. With Cho Oyu in the background, we pass through tiny alpine settlements before arriving at Machhermo, a popular acclimatization stop.
We follow the glacial trail toward the stunning turquoise Gokyo Lakes. The village of Gokyo, perched by the third lake, offers an unforgettable setting surrounded by Himalayan giants.
Early in the morning, we hike up Gokyo Ri for sweeping views of Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyu. After returning to Gokyo for breakfast, we trek east along the Ngozumpa Glacier to Thagnak.
We begin early to cross the challenging Cho La Pass. The route includes rocky ascents and a glacier traverse before descending into the tranquil village of Dzongla.
Today is a shorter, scenic trek along the valley rim, offering panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. We rejoin the classic Everest Base Camp trail at Lobuche.
We follow the moraine trail to Gorak Shep, where we rest before continuing to the iconic Everest Base Camp. After spending time there, we return to Gorak Shep for the night.
A pre-dawn climb to Kala Patthar gives us the best sunrise views over Everest and its neighbors. After breakfast, we descend back to Lobuche, enjoying a much-deserved rest.
We tackle the remote and rugged Kongma La Pass today, offering a quieter and wilder experience than the other two passes. The descent leads to Chhukhung, a beautiful valley beneath Island Peak.
We trek along the Imja Valley and climb steadily toward Island Peak Base Camp. After settling into tents, we receive training on rope techniques, crampon use, and safety procedures for the climb.
Summit day begins before dawn. We cross a glacier and climb fixed lines on snow and ice. After an exhilarating final push, we reach the summit with magnificent 360° views. We descend safely back to Base Camp or Chhukhung, depending on energy levels and timing.
A spare day in case of unfavorable weather, altitude issues, or to extend recovery time after the summit.
We begin our descent into warmer air and greener valleys, passing through Dingboche to Pangboche. Here, we can visit the ancient monastery known for its spiritual importance in the Khumbu.
We retrace our steps along the Dudh Koshi River, descending through Tengboche and Namche Bazaar before reaching Lukla. It's a long but rewarding final trekking day.
We take a morning flight from Lukla to Kathmandu, where you can relax, reflect, and celebrate your incredible accomplishment. The afternoon is free for shopping, sightseeing, or a well-earned massage.
