Round Annapurna Trek via Tilicho

Overview

The Round Annapurna Trek via Tilicho Lake is a spectacular high-altitude adventure that combines the classic Annapurna Circuit with a remarkable side trip to Tilicho Lake — the world’s highest glacial lake at an elevation of 4,919 meters. This route offers trekkers not just natural beauty, but also deep cultural immersion, remote mountain trails, and the unforgettable challenge of crossing Thorong La Pass (5,416 meters), one of the highest trekking passes in the world.

This 14-day trek is designed for those who seek something beyond the standard Annapurna Circuit. The diversion to Tilicho Lake provides a raw and rugged landscape, away from the more traveled paths, surrounded by towering peaks such as Annapurna II, Gangapurna, Tilicho Peak, and Dhaulagiri. It is both a spiritual and physical journey that takes you through lush valleys, Buddhist villages, alpine meadows, and windswept mountain passes.

Whether you're an experienced trekker or a strong beginner with good fitness, this trek delivers a truly immersive Himalayan experience.
